"I'm sure you hear this all the time, but once again, the cottage was perfect in every way! We had such a great time using the cottage as a base for the wedding weekend. It was simply great. We only wished we could have spent more time there. It was wonderful having the little guys with back yard in between events. The wedding at Cornerstone was lovely tho' windy. It was great coming back to the cottage as opposed to a hotel room. Your location is awesome with Whole Foods around the corner and the Square to poke around, even if we had no time this visit. Hopefully we can rent it again without the hectic activities surrounding the weekend. "We loved our stay in Sonoma - this cottage was perfect for us (two couples - one from Boston / one from England) - It was bright, clean and equipped with everything we needed - we slept well in the comfy beds, cooked in the kitchen with every pot/pan/appliance we wanted), had hot tubs every evening, grilled on the deck, walked to Whole Foods as well as to Sonoma Square - - - we "happened upon" the Tuesday Farmer's Market (which included fruits, veggies and live entertainment) - we did some wineries, all of which we would recommend (Mondavi, Frogs Leap, Artesa, Schrammsberg (sparkling wines)) - we went to Calistoga Hot Springs (unpretentious motel/spa - $5 fee to use mineral pools if you get a spa treatment -- had one dinner out in Sonoma - Della Santina's - delicious food, lovely courtyard seating Enjoy your stay in this special place." ~ Randi & Lester, Boston MA, and Julie & Mike, Bishops Stratford England (July 19, 2008)

"When we turned onto 2nd street, we didn't really know what to expect but Cottage Sonoma totally exceeded all of our expectations. We came out to Sonoma w/ a large group of people for a wedding and the group's consensus was we definitely found the best place to stay!!! Our only regret was we didn't plan a longer stay. We will definitely have to come back to fully enjoy all the amenities your cottage has to offer. Thank you so much for making our trip complete w/ such a wonderful place to stay! "Cottage Sonoma has been a lovely home-away-from-home! We survived the heat wave within its clean, crisp interior and enjoyed hiking around Jack London State Park in the morning and great dinners at El Dorado Kitchen, the Girl & the Fig and here on the patio - love the grill! Had the best salmon salad at Cafe Sunflower and wonderful coffee and breads the Basque Boulangerie. We even fit in a movie at the gorgeous theatre on the square. Cottage Sonoma is a wonderful home to return to after these full days, to relax in the hot tub, gather around the dining table and share our stories. "What a wonderful home. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Sonoma is a great central location for daily excursions (San Francisco, Healdsburg, St. Helena etc). The town Plaza had so many great restaurants to choose from. We recommend a trip to Culinary Arts Institute in St. Helena for dinner (and sit at the bar to watch the chefs). Another great find, Goodtime Touring, for bike rental as Doug delivers and picks up the bikes. "Cottage Sonoma was the perfect host for a weary family of four from frigid Pennsylvania! We enjoyed terrific dinners at Della Santina, The Girl and the Fig, El Dorado and the General's Daughter. Don't miss any of them. We had great lunches at he the Swiss Hotel and the Red Grape (great pizza!). All of the wineries were terrific and we especially liked the tour at Benzinger. Hiking the Sonoma Overlook Trail on a bright, sunny morning was a treat. "Have stayed in Napa but we like Sonoma so much more. Found your cottage on VRBO and we love it here. The cottage decor is great with everything we need, plus so close to the square. "What an amazing two days we had at your adorable cottage in Sonoma. We arrived and opened the door to the most perfectly decorated house - and for people that love to cook in the kitchen, you had everything a chef could want when away from home. Of course we brought spices and olive oils, but when we opened the cabinets, they were all there. What a treat! The weather turned on us the second day, but we did get to use the hot tub the first night, which was wonderful. And thank you for having robes and spa shoes - we had not thought of bringing these! "Ours was also a great vacation with great friends. The cottage was super comfortable and beautiful (your decorator did a fantastic job!). We had amazing weather, food and wines. "Cottage Sonoma has been perfect!! I wanted a peaceful spot to bring my 93 year old mother. This was so much more than I expected and we both loved every minute. We shopped for fresh fruit & veggies Thursday at the Farmer’s Market – loved Copia in Napa, Buena Vista, &  Gundlach Bundschu  here in Sonoma. We cooked fabulous meals in your kitchen – with outstanding provisions from Sonoma Market. Couldn’t be in Sonoma without dinner with the ? and The Girl and the Fig… and fresh croissants from the Basque Bakery each morning. "Stayed here from 6-1 to 6-5 and wish we would have booked a longer stay. The cottage is perfect: from its location to Sonoma and wine country to the quality and comfort of the home itself, our vacation here could not have been better. We are truly sad to have to leave so soon. Book at least a week!! Loved “The Girl & the Fig”, also the drive through the mountains via Trinity Rd near Glen Ellen (it's a beautiful drive and takes you to the middle of Napa Valley at Robert Mondavi). "Cottage was absolutely enjoyable to spend a few days. It is filled with extras including tea, coffee, seasonings and cereal so you don't need to go to the store. Our trip would not have been as relaxing if we stayed anywhere else. P.S. If you are not from California, the local video rental store will not let you take out movies. "Amazing weekend away. Four women/mothers w/ 10 kids at home in Long Beach w/ the husbands. We all received a girls trip away for Christmas (from our old Delta Airlines Days). We could have gone to Paris, Mexico or London - but instead we decided on Sonoma - perfect choice. The Sonoma Cottage was perfect for 4 girls - enough togetherness - but enough privacy too. The hot tub was wonderful every night - watching the stars & being one w/ nature. We wine tasted, we shopped, we walked, we were students at the Culinary School (Ramekins), we danced at Vaquero Restaurant, etc....
